2012-12-11 · adding firebrick to weber kettle. Any one try this? i was thinking of covering the coal grate with fire brick leaving a small gap all the way around for air movement and draw from bottom vents. I know it wont be able to suck the air directly under coals this way but I can't see it being a problem. I was thinking of doing this for two reasons.
